The iSTEM Centre, Preston College

Project Overview

The new £13m Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) development was completed June 2015. Preston College, working with industry, put together an ambitious plan – which will see all the science and technology sectors brought together under one roof at the St Vincent’s Road campus.

DES worked with Kier and Clancy Consulting to generate £200k M&E cost savings through re-design, helping the client achieve their budget target. DES was brought in as part of the early design team twelve months before construction commenced.
