STANDARD CALL OUT RATE FOR ELECTRICAL REPAIRS AND ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE

We have a simple price structure, which is 100% transparent. Our labour is charged hourly with a minimum charge of 1 hour.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES DES Electrical Contractors UK Ltd is a VAT registered company and under government law’s we must charge VAT at 20% on the total of each and every invoice. We are able to purchase materials in order to complete the job on behalf of the customer, however it will be an additional cost and customers will have to pay for the materials purchased (you will be shown a receipt of the total amount). For those who live in the congestion zone; if the engineer has not yet been in the zone that day you will be charged the national rate. If he has been in the zone that day you will not be charged. Parking is the responsibility of the customer to provide, if our engineer must pay for parking you will be provided with evidence and charged for the parking amount. Costs may also be charged to cover fuel, travel and other associated expenses.

HOURLY RATE

There is a minimum charge of one hour for each and every job unless quoted otherwise. All rates exclude the cost of materials, parking and congestion charge.

Jobs are charged by hourly rate from the time the engineer arrives on site until the time they leave the site. (Having completed the task given). If the job is not complete on the same day and the engineer must return at a later date, then you will only be charged for the time the engineer has been currently been there and the time when he returns to carry out the necessary procedures to complete the job. Unless quoted otherwise.


INVOICE

Where applicable a company’s invoice will be provided to the customer who requested the work to commence, requesting a signature and to fill in details listed. This is a legal document between DES Electrical Contractors UK Ltd and yourselves, it will prove that you are satisfied with the work that has been carried out.


PLEASE NOTE

Prices may be subject to terms & conditions due to special circumstances for example bank holidays or bad snowy weather conditions. Customers will be made fully aware of this before dispatching engineers.
